Lady Maddaline A. Jenkins Norfleet was born in Waterbury, Connecticut. She, along with her two brothers was raised by their mother, Mother Maddie Lewis Jenkins. Mother Jenkins, a fiery, old fashioned, no nonsense Christian women, kept Maddaline close to her instilling strong moral & saintly values. Reared in the Richardson Memorial Church of God in Christ she was active in church work, singing in the choir and service in various Auxiliaries.
She is the wife of Bishop Joseph J. Norfleet, Sr. and has been married for over 38 years. They have 5 children and11 grandchildren. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, Bishop & Lady Norfleet founded the Faith Center Church of God in Christ in Meriden, CT in 1989 where they are the Senior and Assistant Pastors. She serves as administrator and graphic design director for the church. She is known for her gift of graphic design and her skills are sought throughout the body of Christ.
Lady Norfleet established the Grace Like Rain Ministries, Inc. a 501-3c accredited organization and out of it launched four successful ministries; "Lady M Designs - a video and graphic design company specializing in Christian publications, a women's ministry called "Grace Like Rain Women's Fellowship", "Healing Waters for Women Retreat" held yearly in the Caribbean Islands and Hawaii and "Grace Like Rain World Missions" - providing medical, humanitarian and evangelistic services worldwide.
In November 2013, Lady Norfleet accepted the call to serve as Supervior of Women for Ethiopia, East Africa for the Church Of God In Christ, Inc. Serving under Bishop Corby Bush, prelate of the Etiopia Jurisdiction, she will serve as Supervior Designee until her offical dedication in November of 2014 in the C.O.G.I.C. Holy Convocation held in St. Louis, Mo.
Having a heart for foreign missions, Lady Maddaline travels to the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, India and Asia where she ministers to thousands with signs & wonders following. In 2005 she along with her husband founded the "Lady Maddaline Children's Home" which provides food, shelter and education for approximately 60 children. In 2012 the "Grace Tailoring Training Institute" was founded in Guntur, India. G.T.T.I. provides training and resources to women who have been abused, widowed or working in the fields making less than $2.00 per day. The women are trained in good work ethics and business skills. At the completion of the course a sewing machine is provided to each woman. She will then be equipped to either work for an established tailoring shop or start her own tailoring business.
Lady Maddaline has a passion for ministry and travels throughout the United States and abroad preaching and singing under a powerful anointing of God. A woman of intense worship and prayer, she cultivates an environment for worship that is totally consuming as she ushers souls into the presence of the father. She has effectively touched the lives of many with her drive for holiness and carries a riveting voice that prepares the way of the Lord and calls men to repentance.
